Job Description

Our client are a prominent supplier of pharmaceutical & FMCG products,

due to team expansion, they are currently seeking a Buying Manager to join their team based in Leicester

Hybrid working will be available, but candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office in Leicester. 

£40,000 – £50,000 D.O.E

The Role

  • Negotiate pricing and terms with both new and existing suppliers
  • Source new product lines
  • Manage stock and inventory
  • Demand planning
  • Stock forecasting
  • Source new suppliers from the UK & overseas

The Candidate

  • Previous buying experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals or product based wholesale
  • CIPS would be desirable but is not essential
  • 3 years + experience in buying
  • Confident in running of a buying department
  • Mathematically competent
  • Fully computer literate and proficient in excel
