My client is a leading manufacturer & supplier of media literature for the DIY industry, due to expansion they are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

The Role

The successful candidate will play an integral part of the UK sales force, focussing on both new business and account management, the successful candidate will arrange meetings with existing and potential new customers focussing on the North West and the Midlands, sometimes National travel will be required but this is not essential.

  • Target & Identify new business
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to focus sales strategy
  • Act as the first point of contact for most business inquiries

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a Field Sales role, ideally within B2B. Candidates with a background of DIY, Construction or Media Printing will be highly considered however this is not essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of developing business and a list of key achievements.

Excellent starting salary – £30-35K DOE + Company Car (Mercedes or BMW).
